The University of North Texas Upward Bound Math and Science (UNT UBMS) Program was established on the UNT campus on October 1, 1990 as one of the TRIO programs.
UNT UBMS has been striving to provide excellence in academic enrichment and motivational activities for underprivileged high school students, who possess an interest in and aptitude for STEM fields. UNT UBMS continues to motivate its scholars to complete high school, enroll in post-secondary education and complete degrees within the STEM fields.
