UBMS Application
Eligibility Criteria
The University of North Texas Upward Bound Math and Science (UBMS) Program serves 68 students each year.
Applicants must:
· Have successfully completed Algebra I
· Submit recommendations from their counselors, math and/or science teachers (2 total recommendations)
· Demonstrate academic success
· Demonstrate need for the UBMS program and desire to pursue a STEM degree
In addition to meeting the eligibility criteria, applicants must be a current-upcoming sophomore, junior or senior at the target schools (Decatur, Denton, Gainesville, Guyer, Lake Dallas, L.D. Bell, Ryan and Trinity High)

2016 UNT UBMS Applications will be made available in December of each year.
Application Packets Due February 25th of each year.
