Lynda Service and Support

Lynda is provided free of charge to UNT System students, faculty and staff. You can browse through more than 5,600 courses. Through the video-based instructions students, faculty and staff can learn new business technology and creative skills. Each course is a series of short videos, so users can learn at their own pace and on their own time. All videos are viewable on computers or via Lynda.com’s mobile app for iPhone, iPad or Android. Getting Started


UNTS Lynda portal

  1. Go to the UNT System Lynda portal
  2. Login in with your EUID. The first time you do this Lynda will prompt you to choose between two options:
    • I’ve had an account- Select this if you have logged into Lynda.com before using either a personal account or UNT System account. Lynda will transfer your certificates, playlist, and course history to your new profile.
    • No, I’ve never had an account – Select this if you are new to Lynda.com

Lynda.com website

  1. Go to www.lynda.com
  2.  Select “sign in with your organization portal” and enter your institutional affiliation.  This will be untsystem.edu, or unt.edu, or untdallas.edu, or unthsc.edu depending on the location where you work or attend school. Select Continue. This will direct you to the UNT System Lynda portal.  Login with your EUID and password.

Lynda.com Mobile App

  1. Download and install the Lynda.com mobile app for your mobile device
  2. Select “Already a member”
  3. Select “Organization” at the top
  4. In the web portal section enter untsystem.edu, unt.edu, untdallas.edu, or unthsc.edu depending on the location where you work or attend school.  Select “Log in”.  This will direct you to the UNT System Lynda portal
  5. Log in with your EUID
