International student advisers were never helpful to me in term of when I ask them any type of quest...ions and I never felt welcomed. Every time when I go in and ask for an adviser I was never invited into their office to discuss my situation, there are some questions I felt personal and confidential to just discuss in the lobby area. I love being an international student at UNT and have been at UNT for 3 years now but not once I was satisfied with the service that international student advisers have provided. I understand that they may have other priorities and I have tired to make appointment with them but the response is always "well we have walk-in hour, you can just come in at that time," and as a student I then expect to have my questions to be answer during that "walk-in hours." However, I have never walked out and felt like my questions were completely answered and always felt like being rushed out the office. There are a lot of regulation regarding to international students and I understand it changes every so often, but there are several times I felt like the advisers didn't even know what I was talking about. I believe every international students have come a long way from home and paid huge amount of money to go to the school here at UNT we deserve advisers that actually care. See More
UNT International staff & students made my transition easy. It is a home away from home for internat...ional students and I made friends who we still keep in touch despite graduating from UNT over two years ago. I would keep recommending UNT to my friends who would love to study in the United States. You guys rock! See More
UNTI has been like a home to me. I loved the friendliness and cultural exchange.
