Majors must complete 36 hours in anthropology to include:

18 hours required:

• ANTH 4011 Field Methods or a second area studies course
• ANTH 4021 Development of Anthropological Thought

18 hours of electives:

15 hours of which must be taken from the upper division level (3000 / 4000), minimum of 6 hours from 4000 level courses. A maximum of 3 hours of ANTH 4920 may be applied toward satisfying the 36 hour requirement.

In addition to university core requirements, students must complete the following courses:
