North Texas Daily is an essential part of UNT. We are a nationally trending news source that has won regional, state, and national awards with over 100 years of journalism excellence in producing the news for the University of North Texas and the surrounding community.  The Daily is the only ongoing record of happenings at the University of North Texas since 1916, covering our hyperlocal diverse community of UNT and surrounding areas.  Written by the students and for the students, the Daily has been a staple for UNT.

North Texas Daily provides student journalists hands-on experience as they manage the newsroom to produce news daily and publish weekly in print.  Our student marketing consultants manage all business clients' campaigns to generate the necessary supplemental revenues for the Daily to pay the bills.  As Student Service Fees continue to decrease, the need for support is vital to the longevity of the Daily and other UNT Student Media Groups.
