Rutgers University Marine Field Station (RUMFS) Open House!

Come explore the amazing marine science taking place in your own backyard. Join us on Saturday, September 17th for the annual Rutgers University Marine Field Station (RUMFS) Open House from 10:00am-3:00pm at the end of Great Bay Blvd. in Little Egg Harbor, NJ. Meet Rutgers and JC NERR scientists and explore the exciting research happening in and around the JC NERR. If you have ever wondered what happens in the mysterious building at the end of the road, this is your chance to find out. Visitors must walk across the ~1/4 mile causeway to the building. No registration is required for this event.

LIFE ON THE EDGE

The “Life on the Edge” exhibit, the public gateway to the Jacques Cousteau National Estuarine Research Reserve, was recently renovated and reopened to the public on Wednesday, August 21, 2013.  A ceremony featuring remarks from Congressman Frank LoBiondo was held to commemorate the event.  The exhibit is located on the second floor of the Yacht Club Building located at the Tuckerton Seaport in Tuckerton, New Jersey.
