CNMI Wildlife Action Plan recieves final approval

The 2015 CNMI Wildlife Action Plan, that lays out a detailed strategy for the conservation and protection of our "species of greatest conservation need", was reviewed and approved by our granting agency partners at the U.S. Fish & Wildlife Service. Native forest birds released on Guguan

Biologists and field technicians from the CNMI Department of Lands and Natural Resources and the Division of Fish and Wildlife traveled to the northern CNMI island of Guguan to release 48 Bridled White-eyes and 54 Tinian Monarchs in an attempt to establish breeding populations on the island that is a safe-haven for birds threatened by invasive Brown Treesnakes. read more...

Division of Fish and Wildlife awarded $238k to conserve imperiled snails

The DLNR-Division of Fish and Wildlife was awarded grant funding from the Competitive State Wildlife Grant program (SWG) administered by the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service.
