Environmental Response Management Application (ERMA)

ERMA^® is an online mapping tool that integrates both static and real-time data, such as Environmental Sensitivity Index (ESI) maps, ship locations, weather, and ocean currents, in a centralized, easy-to-use format for environmental responders and decision makers. ERMA is designed to:

Aid in spill preparedness and planning.
Assist in coordinating emergency response efforts and situational awareness for human and natural disasters.
Support the Natural Resource Damage Assessment process.

ERMA Deepwater Gulf Response Following the settlement of the Deepwater Horizon Oil Spill, all the data and bookmarked map views were integrated into the existing regional Gulf of Mexico ERMA^® site.	Pacific Islands ERMA Pacific Islands ERMA covers the Hawaiian Islands and outlying territories. It is primarily focused on impacts from coastal storms and marine debris, including data for the 2011 Japanese earthquake and tsunami response.
Gulf of Mexico ERMA Gulf of Mexico ERMA integrates key information to support environmental and severe-weather responses in the Gulf of Mexico.	Pacific Northwest ERMA This regional ERMA allows stakeholders and communities to visualize ecological, human use and infrastructure data in a centralized location.
Southwest ERMA Southwest ERMA has played a role from the earliest days of the response and damage assessment for the 2015 Refugio beach Oil Spill near Santa Barbara CA.
