Laura Picariello

Fisheries Specialist -  Laura works with the Texas shrimp industry, helping fishermen with the proper installation, use and maintenance of turtle excluder devices and bycatch reduction devices to minimize impacts on other species.

Oil Spill Science Outreach Specialist - Christine serves as a link between researchers who conduct oil spill science, through the Gulf of Mexico Research Initiative, and the multiple stakeholder groups that need this information to make more informed decisions.

Senior Associate Director for Planning and Extension  - Heather joined Texas Sea Grant as the program's first Coastal Planning Specialist where she provided expertise and assistance to coastal communities and natural resource managers. She is now is the Senior Associate Director for Planning and Extension.
