Great Lakes Summer Fellows Program

This fellowship program provides students with an opportunity to conduct research in the Great Lakes region under the mentorship of an individual scientist or professional. Summer fellowships are available in a broad range of fields including Aquatic Ecology, Outreach and Education, Data Analysis, Fisheries and Oceanography.

Brian Doyle Undergraduate Marine Extension Fellowships

Fellows spend the summer working with New Hampshire Sea Grant staff to help individuals and organizations make informed decisions regarding marine resources. These paid opportunities are appropriate for a wide range of majors and lead to students participating in such program areas as fisheries and aquaculture, marine literacy, coastal communities and climate adaptation and communications.

TECH 797 is a senior design course alternative that offers financial support for projects in the marine area. Interdisciplinary teams of three to five students work with a sponsoring faculty member on his or her research project. During the year-long course, team members must work with corporate, business, and research communities to complete their projects. |

Washington Sea Grant Science Communications Fellows work for two academic quarters on a range of communications projects, from writing pieces for Washington Sea Grant's Sea Star newsletter to developing web content. The fellows share marine knowledge with Sea Grant's many audiences and build portfolios that help them gain recognition as writers and communicators who break down barriers between scientific information and public understanding.
