Tax proposal: A column on the Jan. 12 Monday Business page about state tax proposals said state Sen. Bob Hertzberg (D-Van Nuys) was speaker of the state Assembly from 1996 to 2002. He was a member of the Assembly then, but speaker from 2000 to 2002.

2015 travel: An article in the Dec. 28 Travel section looking ahead to travel in 2015 incorrectly referred to the American Express Global Business Travel Forecast 2015 as American Express' 2015 Business Travel Forecast. American Express Global Business Travel is a stand-alone company.

Acura designer: An article in the Jan. 11 Business section about automobile designer Michelle Christensen misspelled the last name of architect Zaha Hadid as Haddad.

Stock markets: An article in the Jan. 10 Business section about stock markets defined a market pullback as a decline of more than 10% and a correction as a drop of 20%. A pullback is less than 10% and a correction is 10% or more. A drop of 20% or more indicates that stock values have entered what's known as a bear market.

Mica Levi show: A Jan. 8 Calendar review of songwriter-composer Mica Levi's performance of her score alongside the film "Under the Skin" neglected to mention the participation of members of Wild Up. The Los Angeles-based modern music collective collaborated with Levi and the Wordless Music Orchestra during both of Tuesday night's screenings.

June Harwood: A news obituary of artist June Harwood in the Jan. 9 California section said that her work was included in a 1964 exhibit in San Diego. The 1964 show was in Newport Beach.

Cuba tourism: An article on the Jan. 5 Monday Business page about tourism in Cuba misidentified the name of a tour company that led a trip to Cuba. It was GeoEx of San Francisco, not Global Expeditions.

Lebanese border: An article in the Jan. 6 Section A about new Lebanese visa rules aimed at deterring Syrian immigrants misspelled the name of a commodities trader. He is Toufic Hamzeh, not Toufic Manzeh.

"Agent Carter": A review in the Jan. 6 Calendar section of the television show "Agent Carter" misidentified the character of Daniel Sousa, played by Enver Gjokaj, as Jack Thompson, played by Chad Michael Murray.

Egg law: An article in the Dec. 29 Section A about a California law mandating cage-free henhouses said that laying hens outnumber people 2 to 1 in Iowa. The correct ratio is 20 to 1.

Stadium renderings: In the Jan. 5 Sports section, credits on artist renderings for Farmers Field and a proposal for a renovated Coliseum were swapped. AEG was responsible for Farmers Field, and NBBJ Sports & Entertainment provided the Coliseum illustration.

Kids' Reading Room: An illustration on the Dec. 28 Kids' Reading Room page in the Sunday Comics misidentified the school the young artist attends...

Ceramic artist: An article in the Jan. 3 Saturday section on ceramic artist Dora De Larios quoted her incorrectly on a series of artists she met after studying art in college. The quote should have read: "Through Gia, I met Nina Simone, Carmen McRae, Odetta, Judith Jamison." In addition, the article incorrectly listed a series of 2011 art exhibitions that included De Larios' work. It should have read: In 2011, De Larios' work was part of "Art Along the Hyphen: The Mexican-American Generation" at the Autry National Center and "Common Ground" at the American Museum of Ceramic Art, two of the Getty's "Pacific Standard Time" exhibitions on L.A. art from 1945 to 1980.

Hollywood sign: An article in the Jan. 4 California section on the opening of the hiking trail to the Hollywood sign misspelled superintendent of recreation and parks operations Joe Salaices' last name as Salacaise.

Oakland protests: An article in the Jan. 5 California section about a protest campaign called #BlackBrunch...
