ServiceNow Incident Reporting

  • ServiceNow supports the creation of new Incidents from email, using the email address of Helpdesk@untdallas.edu for both outgoing and incoming traffic.
  • To create a new Incident, send email to Helpdesk@untdallas.edu containing the text that you want in the Incident, mapped as follows:
    • Email Subject >>> Incident Summary
    • Email Body >>>>> Incident Description
  • Incidents can be reported directly through ServiceNow at ithelp.untdallas.edu.
