DENTON - Due to inclement weather in the forecast for Saturday afternoon, the North Texas softball team has adjusted its series with Florida International and will play just two games. The Mean Green and Panthers will play a double-header beginning at 11 a.m. Sunday with game two set to start 30 minutes after the conclusion of game one.

North Texas has also rescheduled its alumni day celebration and pregame presentation to honor head coach Tracey Kee's 800th win to Sunday. Kee will be presented with a framed home plate prior to the first game, and alumni in attendance will be recognized in between games.

The Mean Green are 14-33 all-time against the Panthers and 3-9 since Kee came to Denton in 2014. North Texas looks to snap a six-game losing streak against FIU.

Tickets purchased for Saturday's doubleheader will be honored Sunday. The games will be live-streamed on C-USA TV and live stats will be available at MeanGreenStats.com.
