Nike Tennis Camp does not provide any transportation to/from camp from airport, train stations or bus depots. If you fly into camp, we recommend that you fly into Dallas Fort Worth Airport and schedule a shuttle from the airport to camp. (For a list of shuttles, please visit www.dfwairport.com/transport/)
If you have a camper arriving by air and is deemed an “unaccompanied minor” by the airlines and must be met by a camp staff or shuttle company employee, there may be a fee that needs to be paid in advance of camp. You will still have to arrange transportation to/from camp. Please call 1-800-645-3226 two weeks prior to camp to provide camper’s flight and shuttle information.
Rain Plan
We have always planned our camp with "mother nature" in mind. If it were to rain we will always have some sort of activity usually dealing the mental part of the game. For example, we will have stations where we talk about "College Tennis", "RTP", "Agility", "Mental Toughness" and these are only a few examples of things we have planned.

Helped further develop his skills
July 21, 2017: I think this camp does a great job. My son is a good tennis player who really enjoys the sport. This camp helped him further develop his skills and work with kids that are stronger players that challenge him.

Will be back next year
July 28, 2017: One of my campers felt that he should have been in a more "competitive" group. I don't know if groups were selected based on perceived skill level, or just how that was done. But he felt that he wasn't challenged very much based on his opponents. He claims that we destroyed all of the people he played against and wished he could have played some other people who were at a higher skill level so that he could also be challenged. But hey, I wasn't there. This is just what they were telling me. But they both had fun nonetheless and will be back next year.

disappointed in the graduation ceremony
July 29, 2016: As a parent I was disappointed in the graduation ceremony. On my paperwork it said it started at 3:30. As I walked up at 3:15 it had already started and the comments were as a final thought.... If you were going to change the time of the graduation I feel like you could have emailed the parents or had the kids text us.

July 22, 2016: I just wanted to say thank you for the great experience at this Nike tennis camp, I had such a blast! This was my first tennis camp ever, and I was so nervous about going, but when I got there, everyone was so nice and friendly, and it made me feel like I was home. Thank you again for a great week, can't wait to see you next year!

wants to come back next year
7/1/2016 - When I walk up the last day to watch my son, he was playing a kid half his size, age, and talent which is ok some of the time because everyone needs to learn and everyone learns from their playing I get that. But I asked my son if he was playing kids better than him and he didn't really have a good answer so I am curious as to if he played kids less than his ability most of the time (which in my son's eyes that is what he did) which I wouldn't really be happy with. He had the best time and wants to come back next year and you will see him again but, as a parent, that is my issue.

didn't want it to be over
6/30/2016 - My daughter loved camp. Her confidence as a player has improved and her interest in the mental aspect of the game is also a new area of focus. She has also been inspired to begin an agility training program based on camp activities and instruction. She is committed to becoming the best tennis player she can. Honestly, she cried when we left camp because it was such a great experience, she didn't want it to be over!

more individual instruction
7/30/2015 - I would like to see a bit more individual instruction to those who need it. Just a couple minutes alone with a kid if you notice them struggling with something a lot. Give them some pointers and have them do a quick drill or give some advice or something to help them. And i would like to see coaches give advice to all kids when they're playing a game regardless if they are on their team or not. Cause sometimes the kids don't know what they're doing wrong until you point it out. Or they just need a little boost or encouragement to help them. I liked the camp a lot overall and would love to come again.

Impressed
7/6/2015 - Impressed - younger staff member grabbed my son and played one on one with him the first morning - saved him from wandering around awkwardly looking for another kid until camp started. Thank you for that kindness.

amazing experience
7/2/2015 - My son loved every moment he spent at camp! He woke up extra early to drive in and didn't want to leave at the end of the day. He came home excited to try all of the new things he learned! Thank you all for this amazing experience! He will definitely be back next year (as many weeks as he can fit in).
