DENTON - The annual spring football game will headline a slate of activities throughout the Mean Green Village on Saturday, March 24.

The Spring Game presented by Verus Advisors is the intrasquad scrimmage which caps the Mean Green football team's spring practices and will be played at noon on March 24 at Apogee Stadium. Admission is free, and the game will be streamed live on MeanGreenSports.com.

The day begins with the UNT faculty and staff 5K Fun Run at 9 a.m., starting from Apogee's Gate 4 on the east side of the stadium, followed by a staff appreciation picnic.

The North Texas Athletics Department will hold its annual Mean Green Garage Sale in the Apogee concourse inside Gate 2 on the west side of the stadium. The sale features new and slightly used surplus athletic apparel and equipment, including jerseys, shoes, helmets, cleats, practice apparel, t-shirts, shorts, gloves, polos and more. All sales are final but items are priced to move.

The doors to the Garage Sale will open at 10:30 a.m., but those who have renewed or purchased new season tickets will have VIP acess to the Garage Sale beginning at 9:30 a.m. For VIP access, enter the stadium through the Team Store. Fans who renew or purchase season tickets at this time can also have early entrance to the sale.

Also at 10:30 a.m., Learfield will host the Verus Pre-Game Tailgate on the promenade behind the cabana area at the south end of Apogee Stadium. Verus and Learfield are also holding a post-game event on the promenade.

At 1 p.m., the North Texas softball team will play at doubleheader at Lovelace Stadium against Louisiana Tech. Tickets are available through the North Texas Athletics Ticket Office.

The Mean Green soccer team will scrimmage Baylor at 2 p.m. at the Mean Green Soccer Stadium, and admission is free.

Parking

The White, Green and Black lots will be for suite and club seat holders, and parking passes will be emailed. The Blue lot and Fouts lots will be open to the public.

There is a dance/drill team event at the Super Pit that same weekend, so parking in the Fouts lot may be limited.
