The University of North Texas at Dallas (UNTD) has been authorized by the Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board (THECB) and the University of North Texas System Board of Regents to grant degrees at the baccalaureate and master's levels. UNTD currently offers 16 baccalaureate and 6 master's degrees and is accreditated by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools (SACS). As authorized by the state of Texas, the UNT Dallas College of Law will merge with UNTD once SACS approval is secured. This merger will expand the degree offerings to the doctoral level.
