Announcing a Death or a Funeral
To share news of the death or memorial/funeral service of a current UNT Dallas faculty member, staff member or student in a timely and accurate manner, the Marketing and Communications Department will send a single e-mail message to the campus and include complete memorial/funeral service details. Departments or schools that have lost a member may alert their department and specific individuals via a targeted e-mail message.
UNT Dallas Flag Lowering
A t the discretion of the Office of the President, the UNT Dallas flag will be lowered to half-staff for three days in honor of the passing of a current employee or student. The United States flag may be lowered by order of the President of the United States. The Texas state flag may be lowered by order of the Governor of Texas.
