JONESBORO, Arkansas (9/22/06) The North Texas volleyball team (9-7) got off to a tough start in Sun Belt Conference play by having a four-game win streak stopped by being swept by Arkansas State (8-7) Friday night 30-22, 30-25, 30-26.

The Mean Green started off slow by only hitting for a .024 percentage in the first game, while the Indians never hit lower than .227 in the three-game match. 

Katy Prokof led the way for the Mean Green with another double-double, 13 kills and 11 digs, while Tara Hooser added nine kills of her own.

Two Indians finished with 15 kills and the team tallied a .300 hitting percentage for the match.

North Texas will continue conference play when they take on Arkansas-Little Rock at 1 p.m. on Sunday.
