Teams Will Participate In Three California Meets

2016-17
-Named C-USA Freshman of the Meet at the C-USA Indoor Championships after placing first in long jump
-Qualified for the NCAA West Preliminary round in long jump (16th place)
-Earned three first-place finishes in long jump during the indoor season (C-USA Championships, Herm Wilson Invitational, Aggie Team Invitational)
-Jumped a career-best 5.95 meters in long jump at the C-USA Indoor Championships
-Placed 11th with a career-best jump of 11.79 meters in triple jump at the C-USA Indoor Championships
-Finished 24th in the prelims of the 60-meter dash with a career-best time of 7.75 at the C-USA Indoor Championships
-Also ran the 200-meter dash at the JD Martin Invitational, placing 12th at 26.17
-During the outdoor season, jumped a career-best 6.22 meters at the NCAA West Prelims in long jump
-Finished second in long jump at the C-USA Outdoor Championships at 6.15 meters, earning All-Conference honors
-Came in 13th in triple jump at the C-USA Outdoor Championships at 11.94 meters
-Also competed in the 100-meter dash at the Texas Relays (65th place) and was part of the 4x100-meter relay team (finished sixth at the C-USA Outdoor Championships).

-Was a three-time 6A long jump state champion and 6A triple jump state champion at Wichita Southeast High School
-During the 2016 outdoor season, her best long jump was 19-10.00 feet at the Salina-Central Invitational
-Her best triple jump was 39-6.50 feet was at the GWAL championships
