Day Two In Oklahoma In The Books

NORMAN, Okla. - Mean Green tennis wrapped up the second day of competition at the Sooner Fall Invitational Saturday night with five wins on the day.

Only playing singles today, after playing two doubles matches on Friday, North Texas collected wins from four different players, with junior Paula Dinuta being the only member of the Mean Green to finish the day unbeaten.

Dinuta rebounded from a tough Friday by taking down UALR's Veronique Luksic in straight sets, 6-0, 6-4, before defeating Heather Steinbauer of SMU 7-6, 6-1.

Junior Nadia Lee emerged from Saturday with a record of 1-1 dropping a tough match to Elizabeth Ullathorne of Texas Tech before bouncing back to defeat Alisa Buslaie of Oklahoma State, 6-0, 6-2.

The final day of the Sooner Fall Invitational will start Sunday morning at 9 a.m. from the Headington Tennis Center on the campus of the University of Oklahoma.
