The 2005 Mean Green Invitational is set to take place September 23-25 at Goldfield Tennis Center in Denton, Texas. The three-day tournament is scheduled to begin at 8 a.m. each day and includes four singles flights and two doubles flights. All flights are draws of 16 and included players from nine different schools, including Army, Baylor, TCU, SMU, Texas Tech, Texas State, Tyler Junior College, UT-Arlington and North Texas.

While the Mean Green Invitational is scheduled for the entire weekend, play could conclude on Saturday if all the matches are completed. With heavy rain expected both Saturday and Sunday, an alternative indoor site (Los Colinas Country Club) has already been reserved and will be used if poor weather conditions exist.
