NT Returns Home, Opens SBC Play with ULL
Mean Green tennis returns home for the first time in over two weeks on Sunday for a match against Sun Belt Conference foe Louisiana-Lafayette at the Waranch Tennis Complex at 12 p.m.

DENTON, Texas - Mean Green tennis returns home for the first time in over two weeks on Sunday for a match against Sun Belt Conference foe Louisiana-Lafayette at the Waranch Tennis Complex at 12 p.m.
North Texas (4-3) is coming off two straight victories over ranked teams and is looking for its third straight victory over the Ragin' Cajuns (1-3).
Junior Ilona Serchenko has led the Mean Green this season, collecting a 5-2 record through seven matches this season. Serchenko has collected a singles point in the two wins over No. 53 Kansas State and No. 44 TCU.
Freshman Kseniya Bardabush, who played her first match at No. 1 singles in the win on Thursday, will be back in action after straight-set her victory over TCU's 114th rated Olivia Smith, 6-2, 6-4.
In all, seven members of the Mean Green have at least a .500 winning percentage in singles this season.
First serve for the match is scheduled for 12 p.m. Admission to North Texas tennis home events is free of charge.
