Mean Green Add Tarleton State To Schedule
DENTON, Texas - North Texas Tennis head coach Sujay Lama announced the addition of a dual match to the 2010 schedule Tuesday afternoon.
The Mean Green (3-2) will host the Tarleton State TexAnns (2-2) on Wednesday February 17 at 3 p.m. at the Waranch Tennis Complex on the campus of the University of North Texas.
"We have an extra date and since we have 14 days before our next match, this match will give us an opportunity to stay sharp before two big conference matches next weekend," Lama said. "We are fortunate to get Tarleton State to come to play us and we are looking forward to playing at home."
North Texas is coming off the biggest dual win in program history on Saturday, defeating No. 73 Texas Tech 5-2.
Tarleton State is located in Stephenville, Texas and is in the NCAA Division II's Lone Star Conference.
Now, five of the next seven opponents for the Mean Green will be ranked in the Campbell's/ITA National Rankings.
