TROY, Ala - North Texas tennis head coach Sujay Lama tied A.G. Longoria for the most wins in program history on Saturday afternoon with 73 after a 7-0 victory over Sun Belt Conference foe Middle Tennessee.

The No. 67 Mean Green (14-6, 5-0) won the doubles point for the sixth straight match when it swept the Blue Raiders (14-6, 7-2) in all three matches.

The No. 2 doubles tandem of Kseniya Bardabush and Valentina Starkova dominated play over Marietta Bigus and Yuiri Nomoto, taking the match 8-2, before the No. 3 team of Irina Paraschiv and Paula Dinuta clinched the first point with an 8-4 victory.

Singles saw Dinuta and Ilona Serchenko quickly extend the North Texas lead, with each losing only two games in their respective matches.  Serchenko ran through Nayara Morales on court four 6-2, 6-0 while Dinuta Bested Taylor Coffey, 6-0, 6-2.

Starkova would haul in the match clinching victory on court three with a straight set, 6-4, 6-4 win.

The remaining three matches all went three sets, with the Mean Green claiming wins in all three.

Lee took home the victory over Lexi Brand in back-and-forth fashion.  The senior jumped out and took the first set 6-0, before dropping the second 1-6.  She would then claim the third and the match 6-0, 1-6, 6-3.

Both Bardabush and Barbora Vykydalova won their first sets by a score of 6-1 before Middle Tennessee mounted a comeback.  Vykydalova would go on to win 6-1, 4-6, 6-3, while Bardabush would win her match in a super-tiebreaker, 6-1, 5-7, 10-8.

The 67^th-rated Mean Green will finish the regular season tomorrow morning against Troy at the Lunsford Tennis Center.  First serve is set for 11 a.m.
