North Texas Swimming & Diving Falls At Texas A&M, 113-173

COLLEGE STATION, Tex. (11/10/01) - The North Texas women’s swimming and diving team dropped a 113-173 decision at Texas A&M on Saturday.

The Mean Green won three events and finished no worse than third in 13 more. Elizabeth Jennings and Charity Dillow each took first-place in one event and North Texas won the 200-Yard Freestyle Relay. Jennings won the 100-Yard Butterfly with a time of 1:01.30 and Dillow earned first-place honors in the 200-Yard Individual Medley with a time of 2:18.31. Tiffani Harkrider, Jennings, Bethany Pipes and Charlene McClain made up the 200 Freestyle Relay team that posted a time of 1:42.07.

Christina Bernal, Cynthia Bernal, Tiffani Harkrider, Pipes and Kristin Carson all garnered a second-place finish in at least one event.

North Texas will close out the Fall portion of its schedule at the UALR Christmas Invitational, scheduled for Nov. 30 through Dec. 1.
