DENTON - Now in the swimming program's 17th season, there has not been a more familiar Mean Green opponent than the TCU Horned Frogs. On Friday, the two teams will square off for the 23rd time when North Texas makes the short trip down I-35. The meet is set to start at 6 p.m. from the TCU Recreation Center Natatorium.

Friday's dual will be the second time that North Texas has been in the pool with TCU this year. Both teams kicked off their seasons at the Mean Green's pentathlon exhibition in September, a meeting that saw North Texas win four of the scrimmage's five sprint events. Since that day, TCU has swam to a 6-3 record in dual meets on the year.
