DENTON, Texas (2/11/10) - The North Texas softball team's season opener has been pushed back again. Due to poor weather conditions in the Dallas-Fort Worth area, the Mean Green will not play any of its games this weekend.

The North Texas softball team was not able to get out of Denton due to the weather. The Mean Green will not play its Thursday game against Mississippi Valley State and will not participate in the Bulldog Round Robin Tournament in Starkville, Miss.to be held on Feb. 12-14.

The Mean Green's next planned game is Wednesday, Feb. 17 against Stephen F. Austin in Nacogdoches, Texas.
