Scrap Yard Sports Division I Exhibition Tournament

DENTON - As a result of winter weather conditions, the Tulsa Invitational tournament that Mean Green softball was scheduled to attend has been canceled. Instead, thanks to quick thinking and last minute scheduling by head coach Tracey Kee, North Texas will travel to the Houston-area for a neutral site tournament with a field that includes No. 4 Oklahoma, Oklahoma State and IPFW.

All games will be played on "Iron 2" field at the Scrap Yard Sports Complex in Conroe, TX just north of Houston. The complex, situated on 75 acres, is a multi-purpose youth and adult sports facility with seventeen all-turf fields with adjustable fences that support the play of baseball and softball primarily, as well as flag football, lacrosse, kickball and other sports.

Fans planning to attend the Scrap Yard Sports Division I Exhibition tournament can purchase all-tournament passes for $20 per vehicle upon gate entrance. The pass will cover the entire weekend of play and must be paid in cash at the gate. A Sunday-only pass will also be available for $10 per vehicle. For directions to the facility visit:MAP
