The Mean Green is going for three wins when it plays Incarnate Word today in San Antonio at 7 p.m. For the fourth straight year, North Texas has started the season with a 2-0 record.

North Texas returns home to face Kansas (0-1-1) on Sunday for its home opener. The Mean Green is 1-1-1 in the series against Kansas.

The Mean Green has played well on the road. Last year, North Texas recorded a 5-1-1 record on the road, compared to its 9-3 home record. The Mean Green was also 2-1 in neutral games.  Already, this season North Texas is 1-0 on the road and 1-0 in neutral games.

North Texas brought back all of its offense from last year's record-setting team. The 2015 team has brought more firepower to the table according to last week's performance. Freshman Olivia Bagby scored the team's first goal of the season with a lasered strike that went upper 90 from outside the box.
