Lancaster Finishes Strong In The Final Round

BOERNE, Tex. - Sophomore Andra Lancaster shot a final round 79 to pace the North Texas women's golf team in the final round of the Baylor Invitational from the Tapatio Springs Country Club. Lancaster's round was her best of the tournament as she finished with a three round score of 242.

Sophomore Jaclyn Golden had the best three day score for the Mean Green after a final round score of 80 to give her a total of 238 for the tournament. Laura Rakel closed out the tournament with an 86 to finish at 249.

Freshman Tara Lambright shot a third round score of 88 to put her at 255 and Brooke McCutchen shot a 91 to finish at 263 for the tournament. As a team the Mean Green shot a final round of 333 and for the tournament North Texas ended at 980.

The Mean Green return to action on April 12-13 at the Susie Maxwell Berning Classic.
