DENTON, Texas (3/2/11) - Over 200 Greek Life Leadership members attended a Greek Event at the North Texas Athletic Center on Thursday, Feb. 24. Attendees had opportunities to meet the new football staff, view the stadium construction and hear from the athletic director and the new football coach.

Over El Guapos food on the back deck of the athletic center, athletic director Rick Villarreal and new football coach Dan McCarney spoke to the Greek Life Staff members and student activities representatives about gathering support for the new football stadium and the home opener. The entire football staff was in attendance.

Coach McCarney plans on holding similar events in the future. The goal of the meetings is to have all student activities departments have a chance to see the stadium construction, meet the coaches and be able to ask questions about the upcoming season and construction.
