Recapping Bradley's Historic Season

March 11, 2018

DENTON -- Terriell Bradley capped off her amazing 2017-18 season right where she'd been all year, as the team leader.

Bradley scored a team-high 17 points on Friday. It was her 19th straight game scoring in double-figures and the 24th time this season she'd led the team in scoring.

Though the season came to an end sooner than she and her teammates would have liked, her season will forever be recognized as one of the best offensive seasons in school history and one that has led the Mean Green back to a championship contender.

FIRST-TEAM ALL-CONFERENCE
After the season, Bradley, who was a C-USA Preseason All-Conference selection, was voted by the conference's coaches to the C-USA All-Conference First-Team.

She is just the third UNT women's basketball player to be named first-team all-conference in the last 15 years and the first since 2009.

POINTS
Bradley finished the season with 578 points, the third most points scored in a single season in program history, the most points scored in 32 years and more than her head coach and North Texas' all-time leading scorer Jalie Mitchell ever scored in a single season.

SCORING AVERAGE
Over the 31 game season, which she played 1,064 minutes, Bradley averaged 18.6 points per game. That's the fifth highest in school history and the highest anyone has averaged over the last 16 seasons.

20+ POINT GAMES
Bradley scored 20 or more points 16 times this season. That's the third most in a single-season in school history. From Jan. 3 to Feb. 22, she scored 20 or more points in 10 of the Mean Green's 13 games. During UNT's four-game winning streak from Feb. 2 to Feb. 22, Bradley averaged 25 points per game.

FREE THROWS
Bradley makes a living at drawing contact and finishing around the rim. She made 164 free throws this year, 29 more than anyone has ever made in a single season in school history. It broke a record that had been held by Sherronda Williams for 26 years.

She made 18-straight free throws towards the end of the season, which tied the school record. On Jan. 26 versus Western Kentucky she made 13 free throws in the game, tied for the 10th most in school history. She actually made all 13 in a row before missing her last two.

Last season, Bradley finished with 121 free throws, the fifth-most in school history. Her 284 made free throws over the last two seasons are the most free throws made in consecutive seasons in school history.
