In Fall 2018, Dr. Justin T. Jones will be teaching ENGL 3450: Undiscovered Countries: Death and the Supernatural in Short Fiction on Tues/Thurs. 11-12:20.

This class will investigate topics surrounding death and its possible afterlives in the short stories of authors such as Edgar Allen Poe, Mark Twain, Bram Stoker, and Shirley Jackson.

Professor Keith Whittington, William Nelson Cromwell Professor of Politics at Princeton University will be on campus on Wednesday, April 25 to deliver a talk, “Why We Should Value Campus Free Speech.” The talk will be based on Dr. Whittington’s new book, Speak Freely: Why Universities Must Defend Free Speech. Dr. Whittington is one of the nation’s leading scholars on constitutional law, politics and history, and American political thought.
