PIC | Department of Physics

PIC

Welcome to the Physics Instructional Center (PIC).

*Labs are closed the first week of the semester.

PIC Goal

The goal of the Physics Instructional Center (PIC) is to provide students with the tools necessary to expand their knowledge of the world of Physics. The PIC consists of laboratory experiments, a tutorial lab and a testing center. Each laboratory course is meant to give students "Hands On" exposure to the concepts and principles they study in their lecture class.

PIC Tutorial Lab

The PIC Tutorial Lab is available as a free service to students taking undergraduate Physics classes. Tutors working in the Tutorial Lab can help students with lab material, lecture homework, and exam preparation. The Tutorial Lab is located in PHYS 209.

PIC Testing Center

The PIC Testing Center administers weekly exams for the PIC laboratory courses. The exams test the student's basic understanding of the concepts and principles of each experiment completed in the lab. PIC Testing Center is located in PHYS 209AA.
