Distinguished Lecture Series |
The Distinguished Lecture Series brings noted speakers to campus each year to provide the UNT community with different perspectives and topics of thought. From businessmen and scientists to political figures and celebrities, each event is unique and designed to inform and entertain.

Emerald Eagle Scholars |
The Emerald Eagle Scholars Program provides access to higher education for academically talented students with high financial need. While at UNT, the program seeks to connect Emerald Eagle Scholars to campus resources, engage them in activities that facilitate their academic success, and support students in the timely completion of their bachelor’s degrees.

Green Jackets |
For over 90 years, the Green Jackets have shown strong leadership skills both on and off campus. They have a true passion for service toward UNT and its community, are outstanding students in the classroom, and constantly serve as role models for their peers.

High School Career Connect |
High School Career Connect (HSCC) is a career development and education service for middle school, high school and college students throughout Denton County. The HSCC program has been established in response to Texas House Bill 5, which requires children to choose their career paths in eighth grade in order to identify which endorsements (academic tracks) they should follow in high school.

North Texas in D.C.
|
NTDC has provided for nearly 200 UNT students, who have traveled to DC or Austin, to intern for various government entities. Some students have used their experience to launch a career of their own while others have benefited from the internship by applying their experience to law school or graduate school.

Off-Campus Student Services
|
Off-Campus Student Services sponsors several programs and activities to assist students in their overall collegiate experience. Services include assistance on locating off-campus housing, information on commuter and transportation services (i.e. carpooling, bus schedules, etc.), as well as coordinating and co-sponsoring events such as Commuter Week and Housing Fairs.

Office of Spiritual Life |
The Office of Spiritual Life seeks to promote the spiritual development of our students by encouraging thoughtful dialogue, critical thinking, personal reflection, and interfaith awareness. We aim to create a safe and inclusive environment for all students as they reflect on and engage with their beliefs, values, purpose and ways of making meaning.

Student Government Association |
The Student Government Association is the official voice of the undergraduate student body at the University of North Texas. As an organization, we are committed to making each student’s opinions and concerns heard in the administration. The Student Government Association is comprised of an Executive Branch, Student Senate, Supreme Court, and the Freshman Interns. Together, these factions work with students across the University and administration to make our campus better for everyone.

Student Sustainability

The We Mean Green Fund (WMGF) Committee is a student-majority committee comprised of 10 students and 3 faculty or staff members. The Committee has the large responsibility of evaluating proposals for sustainability projects that are received from the UNT community, and recommending funding of approved projects from the We Mean Green Fund.
