Traveling to and from Dallas Love Field Airport

DART's Love Link 524 is a convenient and economical ways to travel between Dallas Love Field and popular North Texas destinations.

Dallas Love Field
DART's Love Link 524 operates between Dallas Love Field and Inwood/Love Field Station, providing an airport connection to the DART Rail Green Line and Orange Line.

On weekdays, the bus operates between Inwood/Love Field Station and Dallas Love Field airport approximately every 15 minutes during the morning (before 9:30 a.m.) and afternoon (4 p.m. to 6 p.m.) rush hours. During the midday and evening hours, the bus operates every 20 minutes and late night (after 10:30 p.m.) the bus operates every 30 minutes. On weekends, the bus operates approximately every 20 minutes during the daytime hours (9:30 a.m. to 6 p.m.) or approximately every 30 minutes all other times.

To get to the DART Bus stop at Dallas Love Field, follow the signs to the lower level for Ground Transportation.

Fares

A two-hour fare is $2.50. A Local Day Pass is available for $5.00 and is good for unlimited rides on all DART bus routes, DART Rail and TRE trains between Union Station and CentrePort/DFW Airport on the date purchased until 3 a.m. the next day. Dallas Love Field airport passengers traveling to Inwood/Love Field Station on the Love Link 524 ride for free.

DART Rail Orange Line & Green Line Service

Inwood/Love Field Station
The DART Rail Green Line and Orange Line operates seven days a week from Inwood/Love Field Station, located near Dallas Love Field. Bus Route 524 picks up or drops off passengers on the street level below the rail platform.

The Green Line and Orange Line provide direct service to Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport, Irving, Carrollton, Farmers Branch, northeastern Dallas, Downtown Dallas and the Fair Park area. Passengers can transfer to the Red Line or Blue Line in Downtown Dallas to connect to Richardson, Plano, Garland, Rowlett and southern Dallas.

Those traveling west towards Fort Worth can transfer to the Trinity Railway Express at Victory Station. Please note, you'll need to purchase a regional fare if you're planning on going further west than CentrePort/DFW Airport Station.

The Love Link 524 circulates between Dallas Love
Field Airport and Inwood/Love Field Station.

Departures from Inwood/Love Field Station:
Monday through Friday: 5:18 a.m. – 1:07 a.m.
Saturday and Sunday: 4:20 a.m. – 12:42 a.m.

Departures from Dallas Love Field:
Monday through Friday: 5:27 a.m. – 1:16 a.m.
Saturday and Sunday: 4:29 a.m. – 12:51 a.m.

DART Rail operates approximately 5 a.m. to midnight

  • DFW Airport Station - 39 minutes (Orange Line only)
  • Southwestern Medical District/Parkland Station - 2 minutes
  • Victory Station (transfer point for Trinity Railway Express) - 8 minutes
  • West End Station/Downtown Dallas (transfer point for Red and Blue Lines) - 11 minutes

LUGGAGE ON DART

Bags Ride Free
  • Make sure you can carry or wheel all your luggage by yourself.
  • Luggage must not block aisles; there are no luggage racks on DART trains or buses.
  • DART operators are unable to provide assistance with luggage.
  • On DART trains, the center section of each train car offers platform-level boarding - perfect for roll-on luggage - plus additional floor space.
