Drupal Basics–Getting familiar with Drupal 7

Class Description:  If one of your responsibilities as a UNT employee is to add or edit content in your department’s website but you have never dealt with web development before, then this course is just for you. The course will provide a comprehensive introduction to Drupal 7, the web content platform used by UNT and thousands of universities and government agencies around the world.

Some of the course topics include: logging into a website, accessibility, finding existing content (pages, images and more), editing existing content, and creating your own content. You also will become familiar with some of the basic features of the Foundations theme used at UNT. This class will help you make the most out of the tools available that help maintain consistency and best practices throughout all UNT sites.

Prerequisite: Must have log in rights to a UNT website before class. Read before class.

How to enroll: Enrollment is required through the HR Talent Management through the new HR Learning Portal. Click on Find Learning and enter Drupal to find your class.
