At UNT, our goal is to provide chairs with the resources and support that they need to be successful in their complex roles as academic leaders and unit managers.  This website provides links to important processess, deadlines, contact information, and a quick reference guidebook. 

Chairs explore contemporary issues and practices through engagement and collaborative dialogue as members of the Chair Academy.  The overarching goal of the academy is to offer a basic set of procedures to accelerate the development of UNT's leadership team.  The academy meets monthly throughout the calendar year and hosts a retreat every fall.
