North Texas And TWU Teaming Up On Thursday Night

DENTON, Tex. - The University of North Texas and TWU women's basketball teams will be competing on the court in an exhibition game Thursday night, but they will be teaming up off the court to help promote the Fellowship of Christian Athletes.

North Texas and TWU are teaming up to promote the UNT/TWU huddles of the Fellowship of Christian Athletes (FCA) at Thursday's exhibition game.

FCA information tables will be set up at Gates A, B, and C of the Super Pit as the game tips at 7 p.m.

North Texas and TWU FCA huddle members will be at these tables to share information about FCA and collect donations to be split between the North Texas and TWU FCA huddles.

Pledge cards to make donations to the two huddles will also be distributed to all spectators as they enter the arena.

North Texas head coach Shanice Stephens and TWU head coach Beth Jillson will address the crowd prior to the game to encourage participation in FCA.

David Goss, an area representative of FCA, will make multiple appearances on The Super Pit video board throughout the game to elaborate on the vision and mission of FCA and the shared effort of the UNT/TWU athletes to grow their respective huddles.
