BOWLING GREEN, Ky. - The North Texas women's basketball team will be trying to exercise some demons as they visit Western Kentucky Saturday morning. Making its third straight visit to the Bluegrass state in as many years, the Mean Green has never won in E. A. Diddle in seven tries. Tip-off is set for 11 a.m. and the game can be seen on the Sun Belt Network.

North Texas is 0-3 in Sun Belt Conference play after an 83-63 loss to Middle Tennessee on Wednesday night. Junior Brittney Hudson notched a career-high 21 points against Middle Tennessee. It was the first 20-point game of Hudson's career and only the 10th time out of 35 games that she has scored in double figures at North Texas.

Hudson has split time as a starter and coming off the bench this season making nine starts. Her production has been equal either way as she is averaging 7.9 points a game as a starter and 7.4 points a game coming off the bench.

North Texas turned in perhaps its best 20 minutes of play against Middle Tennessee in the first half, taking a one-point lead into the break at 36-35. North Texas shot a season-high 50 percent from the floor and a season-high in the first half in free throw percentage.

The Mean Green's 36 points were the third most scored in the first half this season. As great as the first half was, the second half was just the opposite. The Mean Green had a second-half season low in points (27), field goal percentage (31.0), field goals (9), 3-pointers (0), and rebounds (12), which lead to a 21-point turnaround for MTSU.
