Residence Hall Association

Welcome to Residence Hall Association at the University of North Texas. We are so excited to have you with us and look forward to a having wonderful year with you.

The Residence Hall Association is a multi faceted organization with many different parts. Every residence hall at UNT is composed of an individual hall association with 5 executive members that are responsible for running programs and events to build a community in their individual halls. Every week they come together to meet with the Executive Board to plan large scale events for housing as a whole.

The Residence Hall Association is also a part of the organization known as Tri-Org that is composed of each of the three housing student Organizations. This includes the Residence Hall Association (RHA), the National Residence Hall Honorary (NRHH), and the Residence Life Advisor Council (RLAC). They meet every so often to discuss housing events and opportunities as a whole.

The Residence Hall Association is not just a campus organization. The UNT chapter of the Residence Hall Association is part of the National Association of College and University Residence Halls (NACURH), which is the largest student run non profit organization in the world. NACURH is composed of 8 regions with UNT serving in the Southwest Association of College and University Residence Halls (SWACURH).
