The 2014 AAUP Book, Jacket, and Journal Show features the latest in excellent scholarly book design, and premiered this summer at the AAUP Annual Meeting. Starting in September, the 2014 show will begin traveling to presses around the country. First stops: New York, New Jersey, and Ohio!
The AAUP Residency is a unique professional exchange that allows staff from member presses to spend up to a week learning new skills and best practices at another press. Eight applicants were selected to complete residencies in 2014.
Formally established in 1937, AAUP promotes the work and influence of university presses, provides cooperative marketing opportunities, and helps its 130+ member presses fulfill their common commitments to scholarship, the academy, and society. AAUP members are active across many scholarly disciplines, including the humanities, the arts, and sciences, and are innovators in the world of electronic publishing.
