Andy Crerar begins his sixth year with the North Texas athletics department and his third year as the director of facilities and events.
At North Texas, Crerar oversees game operations for football and men’s basketball, as well as, special university and community events. He serves as tournament director for all Conference USA Championships hosted by North Texas Athletics. Crerar provides support in the day-to-day operations for all North Texas’ athletic facilities and oversees construction projects as assigned. Along with his responsibilities, he manages student staff and external contracts.
Crerar came to North Texas from Kent State where he served a graduate assistant in facilities and operations and earned his master's degree in sports and recreational management in 2013. At Kent State, he assisted in event management for all 14 sports.
Prior to Kent State, Crerar worked for two years at Texas State as the facility and game operations assistant. He was the event manager for women's basketball, softball and soccer and assisted with event management for the other 11 sports.
Crerar earned his bachelor's degree in sport management from Bowling Green State University in 2009. While in school, he interned at Ohio State's Ohio Stadium in facility management for two years.
