DENTON – The University of North Texas and Houston have agreed to adjust a date in their future series, the schools announced Thursday. The Mean Green are scheduled to host the Cougars in 2019, and will now travel to Houston in 2020.

The Mean Green and Houston have met 14 times dating back to 1947, splitting the all-time series 7-7. The last meeting came in 2012, a 44-21 win for the Cougars in Houston. The Mean Green opened Apogee Stadium on September 10, 2011 in front of 28,075 fans in Denton, a game that Houston won 48-23.
