College of Music

Laura began working full-time at the College of Music, then known as North Texas State University, in the late 70’s and early 80’s. She returned to Denton in 1999 and began working for the College of Music in 2001.

During the interim period, Laura held positions in other arts related organizations/businesses including The Center for Popular Music at Middle Tennessee State University, Registrar for the East Carolina University Summer Choral Camp, General Manager of the Greenville Choral Society and New Carolina Sinfonia and Executive Director of the Pitt County Arts Council in Greenville, NC. She has also worked for Innovative Percussion of Nashville, TN as Music Publications Distributor.

Laura has two sons, both graduates of the UNT College of Music, and enjoys scheduling concerts, events and other spaces in the College of Music complex. Laura is originally from Fort Worth, Texas.
