Becky Andrews started working for UNT in the department of accounting on January 8, 2007. She supports the Accounting Chair, Dr. Ananth Seetharaman, and the Administrative Coordinator, Kathy Nichols. In 2011 she received the Staff Recognition award from UNT College of Business.
Mrs. Andrews serves as the front office person for the department and helps students with their schedules and general questions pertaining to course work. She runs pre-requisite audits, staffs and coordinates the accounting lab, maintains course syllabi on the website and in the Faculty Information System, processes faculty travel reimbursements, coordinates textbook orders, and creates the department’s annual newsletter.
Mrs. Andrews received her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology in December 2004 and her Associates of Arts degree from Collin County Community College (CCCC), in May of 1995. While attending CCCC she served as the Secretary/Treasurer of the Student Activities Council during the 1994/1995 academic year. She also attended the Leadership Academy in 1995. She was a member of the National Dean’s List in 2003/2004.
In her leisure time she enjoys crocheting, spending time with her grandchildren and volunteering for church activities.
