My Alma Mater is the best! Graduated from School of Merchandising and Hospitality Management - highly recommend if you're looking for a school that is open mind...ed and appreciates diversity of thought. I had lots of kind and intelligent professors who taught me things that have translated well into the real world. GO UNT! See More

I love my University. I have two Bachelor's degrees from this school and am working on a Master's degree now. I have always felt at home here, like I belong h...ere.

However, I am not happy that the University seems to be doing everything it can, however, to eliminate the Classics and Languages from the School STEM classes are all well and good and definitely important, but without the Humanities, without a fully functioning Library with real actual books, without the ability to learn new languages...we lose the greater part of ourselves. We need more Latin Language classes, not less. We need Greek Language classes. We need LANGUAGES! We need Ancient History! We need CLASSICS!

Writing as a disabled service dog handler. Thank you for banning the aggressive service dog from your campus. I do hope that veteran can be paired with a real, ...fully trained service dog as he deserves the help. However, your other students and staff deserve to be safe and undistracted from their education and careers. You were well within your rights and know there are many legitimate service dog handlers in your corner singing your praises. Most handlers have had encounters with dogs like this one that are aggressive or undertrained and it puts us and our highly trained service dogs in danger. More places need to put their foot down at unacceptable behaviors in both pet dogs, emotional support dogs and service dogs. There are laws protecting businesses and establishments and allowing for them to remove badly behaved animals. Thank you for exercising that right. I'm sorry others only see a veteran being "discriminated" against. That is far from the truth. See More

When I came here it was for political science, but their webpage asked for me to type in my essay and constantly refreshed over it. I typed in serval essays the... teacher never saw due to poor web design. I changed my major to psychology, the teachers were kind and on campus life was pleasurable, I eventually left for personal reasons and never completed a degree, but I made good friends here, nonetheless. Both me and my girlfriend love UNT. There are always plenty of events and school spirit is every where. I am posting this asking for UNT's help for a fellow stu...dent. Joy has been through a lot in life with the passing of her parents. Her mother lost her battle with cancer and her father suffered a heart attack. She is in her final semester and sadly did not qualify for financial aid or private loans. Please share this post and lets see her walk the stage and continue onto her next step in life. #gomeangreen #unt #joysgraduation
Thank you and have a blessed day.

They work hard to help students out to get accepted. I wouldn't even think about attending anyothe school. The do multiple events to get you ready to attend and keep in contact during the whole admissions process.

Absolutely one of the worst Universities in the region with grossly incompetent professors and unprofessional staff. I had only one business professor who had m...ore than two years of experience in a real world job. The business professors are an absolute joke. They only promote companies that give them research money and they haven't the slightest idea how to run a business (with the exception of Harvey Zimmermann). The business school professors are in their office during required office hours less than half of the time, and you have to "make an appointment" to see them during the time they are required to visit with students. I had a finance professor tell me I would never become a broker. Not only do I have TWO brokerage licenses, but I got them before anyone else in that specific class.

The university somehow just lost millions of dollars in 2014, which just so happened to be about the time that some of the admin offices were moved from the main campus in Denton to the hardly existent campus in Dallas.

While I attempted to pay the remaining tuition money I owed them, there was suddenly $2000 added to my bill. They chalked this up to an accounting discrepancy. They also refuse to count nearly 100 of my credit hours earned at another (bigger and better) university because their classes do not have the same name. These classes would have allowed me to complete my degree nearly twice as fast.

UNT was absolutely the biggest waste of my time and money to date. Such a poor waste of tax payer money. Terrible quality of employees and a fairly ghetto and dangerous campus.

DO NOT GO HERE. They will steal from you, deceive you, and not teach you. If this is your only option, do not attend college. You will be left in a much worse position.

I understand UNT didn't fund this event but I am sure they could have find a way to prevent this event from happening. Unfortunately the UNT name is going to be shame and relate to the awful Trump administration for generations to come.

So proud of my school. One of the most important things I have learned.....
Don't pick a gig first and then go to school so you can maybe one day learn enough ...to get that gig. Go to NT, take a stab at perfecting your instrument and then go after the gig of your choice!!! It's the journey that will reveal your true destiny!!! Go Mean Green!! See More

UNT is a brain stimulant. It is not a "typical" university setting. All ages walk from building to building at class change. It is free, open, inspiring. I could not think of a better place for an 18 year old or someone over 50. I loved it.

All of the amazing things UNT stands for becomes marginalized, and eventually hidden, when it erects a platform for such a hateful human like Donald Trump, Jr. Progressiveness. Diversity. Community. Scholarship. Charity. Opportunity. Empowerment. Love. All single-handedly erased.

BEST orientation I've attended! Love the energy and friendliness of the orientation leaders! Justin was hysterical and made every topic relatable with his perso...nal stories. The event was very well planned and they did an excellent job of guiding my son through the advising and registration process. See More

I have to wonder why a school that does not have money to waste has chosen to pay 100,000 to a trust fund baby that has never actually had a job. Donald Trump Jr. should be paying UNT to speak.

It's hard to think of a poorer University than UNT in the DFW area, some much pricier, some less expensive. In fact, many of the surrounding JUCO's have better ...instructors for their freshmen/sophomore students than UNT does. This review is NOT directed at the students or alumni but rather the University as a whole. Salaries inconsistent with scholarly achievement. A highly proactive and vocal Faculty Group that has become confused and think they work at the University of Chicago, a Chemistry Department who's main claim to fame in the 21st Century was a Professor creating Methamphetamine in his own lab then forcing his graduate students to sell it across the North Texas Area, a long time, elderly Biology Professor who came to work one morning and discovered a problem with the UNT-OWNED computer he'd been issued, called Computing Services, who stopped by and collected his PC only to discover THOUSANDS of pictures of young girls in states of undress on his...hard drive. Last but not least, an internal auditing department so dysfunctional they failed to notice a department secretary spending over $40,000 in school funds to redecorate her home using a University issued credit card. Complicating matters was their knee-jerk reaction to cancel almost every single credit card in use which caused tremendous problems for many departments for YEARS. It is said, almost taken as an axiom in UNT's case that a University is only as good as it's Library. Current enrollment is likely still close to 36,000 students. Look closely at your library then take a drive out to Lubbock, or Austin, College Station, Houston, or an easy drive up to Norman, Oklahoma. THOSE are libraries. You cannot build an ARL library on Wishin'-and-Hopin'-and-Prayin', or holding committee meetings until the end of time, it takes a form of work that is foreign to most of the teaching staff, nearly every administrator, and nearly everyone of Dean-level and higher. They get PAID and the students get the shaft. There are a lot of very bright students at UNT. I have no idea how they managed to get there but I wish they would transfer to a University that considers their opinions, wishes, and at the end of the day, the quality of THEIR DIPLOMAS, seriously. My information was distributed to your university from Phi Theta Kappa honor's society. I have constantly been receiving emails from your university regarding t...ransferring. I unsubscribed and opted out of communications YESTERDAY, yet your university is still continuing to send me information. I am NOT interested in UNT as I will be attending a university in my own state. I do not understand why you continue to send me emails when I am clearly not interested! See More

I think that this "University" has its priorities all wrong, for paying Trump Junior, who'll require his racist dad's pardon, to speak at their so-called University. I would not send my dog to this institution.
