Our full-time psychiatrist, Seema Gupta, MD, provides psychiatric care at the Student Health and Wellness Center until November 3, 2017. After November 3, 2017, psychiatric services will be limited while a search for a new full-time psychiatrist is conducted.

Psychiatric services include assessments, medication evaluations, and pharmaceutical treatment. There are associated charges for these services. Students who are currently seeing a psychiatrist can request to utilize our psychiatric services. Students can also be referred by a medical provider at the Student Health and Wellness Center, or from UNT Counseling and Testing Services, UNT Psychology Clinic, or the UNT Care Team. Upon completion of the referral process, patients will be scheduled an appointment for an initial evaluation.

Counseling services are available to enrolled UNT students through Counseling and Testing Services.
