  • The following students presented/competed at the International Clarinet Association ClarinetFest in July 2017: 
    Catherine Conlin: Finalist in ICA Orchestral Audition Competition
    Bryce Newcomer: Finalist in ICA Orchestral Audition Competition
    Tzu-Ting Wang: Finalist in ICA Orchestral Audition Competition
    Ting-Wei Chen: Semifinalist in ICA Young Artist Competition
    Sam Day: Semifinalist in ICA Young Artist Competition
    Kelsey Gallagher: Semifinalist in ICA Young Artist Competition
    Aileen Razey: Semifinalist in ICA Young Artist Competition
    Besnik Abrashi: Finalist in ICA High School Solo Competition
  • This summer, many of our clarinet students attended summer music festivals including: ARIA International Summer Academy, Aspen Music Festival and School, Lift Clarinet Academy, McCall Music Society's Summerfest Orchestra, Music in the Mountains, and Prague Summer Nights.
  • UNT undergraduate and graduate clarinetist Music Education graduates have a 100% job placement rate.
